Catherine Cooke Montrose
I wandered into my first World Fantasy Convention in 1982, after selling my novel "Mask of the Wizard" to Tor Books. I was 19 years old and in love with sword and sorcery and adventure stories.

Fast forward - seven books later - I'm still writing, reading, living in Oklahoma City, and not quite as young as I was then.

In between, I raised two sons, taught college writing, performed in many musical theater shows, and lived in my home town of Laramie, then Madison, Phoenix, Orange, Denver, and Seattle.
